100 Faces ... free portraits project!! 

(1000 would be cooler but that might be a little ambitious!)

Do you or any of your friends live near Lagos in Portugal?

Would you or they be interested in a free professional quality portrait shot for your social networking site (Facebook, Twitter, etc)?

If so, then please drop me an email now with a few details about yourself/your friend (I obviously need their consent first), where the shoot might take place (at work, a beach, a bar, ... be creative!) and please include the kind of times during the next few weeks (day or night) when you or they might have ten or fifteen minutes to meet up with me and have a few photographs taken.

What do you get out of this? 

• I aim to do most portrait shoots within just 5 or 10 minutes, so for just a few minutes of your time posing in front of my camera and perhaps some flashguns, you should come out of this with at least one highly professional portrait in a style or location of your choosing (obviously within reason, and at my discretion).  There are no guarantees with this, its all free and experimental, but I will do my utmost to provide an image to you that you like and are happy with.
• "Free images" will be delivered digitally, the dimensions will be in the region of 800 or 1024 pixels on the long side at a resolution of up to 72 dpi, which is more than large enough for most web use. 
• It is not my intention to sell prints of these portraits to you, however if you do wish to purchase enlargements or prints of the images, then I have just invested in some of the highest quality printing facilities (up to A2 size) and am happy to do this for you - this would be a chargeable service though and something we can discuss if the need arises.
• Small local business owners (eg. bar or shop owners, DJ's, etc) may, and probably will be granted permission to use the images I supply to them on commercially oriented / business websites, all I ask in return is that credits (to me) are displayed wherever the photographs appear.
• Full details and terms of use will be supplied prior to the shoot taking place

What do I get out of all of this?  

• Well, apart from challenging myself by running around the Lagos area like a madman trying to shoot a tonne of varied portraits in totally different locations and lighting scenarios, I also hopefully get to meet some very cool and interesting local people, and at the same time I get to build a fantastic collection of portrait images which I will display in a gallery on my website, and/or perhaps on Flickr, Facebook or other social networking sites (I still haven't decided the final details of how this will be displayed).
